ODM Regional Compliance Trainer - £30K per annum
North West & Yorkshire - including Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Sheffield and Leeds
Are you an experienced compliance trainer and available to start immediately for an initial 8-month contract?
Alongside our clients and experienced compliance consultants, ODM have spent eight years developing a regulated sales solution to fit within FCA guidelines for consumer credit, which has resulted in numerous successful sales projects.
ODM have now been asked to replicate our unique training and observation model and deliver this to customer facing colleagues for a major retail partner, with a goal to ensure the approved sales processes are followed during the application for their credit card product.
The contract with our Client is already underway and we are looking to recruit a full time Regional Compliance Trainer to join our existing and well-established team. The role will be initially up to 31st August 2019, with a possibility of extension.
You will need to be able to be totally flexible and mobile across the region, managing an estate of approximately seven stores and up to c.90 employees. The role will include providing Credit Card training sessions for employees, on site in small groups. Follow up training and routine observations will then be planned and recorded over the following months to ensure that all compliance levels are maintained to the highest standards.
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of training, ideally in the credit card or financial services sector. You will be well presented, articulate, confident and well organised. Your approach must be supportive and collaborative, working with and mentoring the client’s employees, supporting them and upskilling them to attain and retain the required standard.
We will provide a week of induction training with ODM to prepare you for the role. You will be equipped with all training materials, laptop and tablets to ensure professional and efficient training and reporting.

You will be rewarded with a competitive package including:
- £30,000 basic salary (pro rata)
- Full time hours – minimum 37.5 hours per week made up of 5 shifts (7.5 hours per day) which will be within store opening times and based around employee needs. You will be required to work some Saturdays and Sundays according to the needs of the business.
